            Research

  • Developed Eucalyptus tereticornis and Melia composita based farming system to saline soils
  • Standardized the seed collection time of conifer spp., developed the Clonal forestry technology with conifers, developed the SRC (Short rotation culture) with willow spp. suited to temperate zone, developed the technology to use the sewage for the production of fodder in the sub-tropical zone, production of QPM of forest tree spp., developed the forest biometrics techniques for the quantification of the forest resource, establish the causes of large scale mortality of Kikar and Shisham in Punjab, standardized the pre-sowing treatment of Chilgoza pine (Pius gerardiana), devise the afforestation technology for problematic sites in temperate region, screening of female cultivar of Salix alba caerulea for the production of cricket bat in Kashmir province

  • Designed UG & PG courses curricula of forestry discipline as member of board of studies of agriculture and forestry faculties at SKUAST-Kashmir, Shalimar, Srinagar (Jammu & Kashmir)
